Key Responsibilities
1. Manage activities for an on-site or off-shore contract resources
2. Project Management
Lead and manage medium term projects (6-12months) linked to technology and process improvements
Adopt Agile framework or similar
3. Technology Management
Provide flawless and timely operational support across all Server Support technologies
Ensure any incidents related to Linux and HA technologies are resolved in a timely manner and the resolution is communicated to stakeholders
Analyze the incidents and potential risks identified by the vendors for each of the technologies and isolate the relevant problems
Potential tech lead for one of the areas listed: Automation; Capacity Management; Performance Management; Lifecycle Management; Disaster Recovery; Linux; High Availability Solution
Participate in resolving problems in collaboration with the Mars Digital Technologies Application service and Infrastructure Service teams
Analyze and report on server infrastructure performance and capacity trends, and proposing actions or Continuous Improvement Plan
Execute technical activities to maintain practical technical knowledge and documentation accuracy
4. Knowledge Management
Work closely with architecture teams to ensure smooth support take on of new infrastructure.
Develop team knowledge and processes according to the industry best practices such as ITIL v3
5. Vendor Management
Responsibility for Server contractors.
Ensure good service delivery from vendor through service reviews and KPI's
Support the Mars Digital Technologies Commercial vendor review process by providing own input

Qualifications
1. Graduated in computing science, engineering or any related area;
2. At least (must) 3 years of experience in infrastructure support, as a functional analyst, administrator or team lead role with focus on OS platforms (Red hat Linux, Windows), virtualization solutions (VMware and Citrix);Cloud solution (Azure, AWS);
3. A minimum of 2 years IT experience in coordinating improvements activities for mission critical environments;
4. Good self-management: well-organized, good time and task planning, good workload management, reliable at meeting deadlines;
5. Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, including good conflict management and an ability to work well with people from different countries and cultures;
6. Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Storage and backup technologies (HP, EMC,NetApp, Commvault, etc.);
7. Understanding of IT processes best practices (ITIL™);
8. Fluent English language is a must due to a global interaction required.
