If you’re an animal lover and have an account management background this is a role to consider, we are recruiting for a National Account Manager, Woolworths who will be based in Melbourne responsible for negotiating the range, distribution, promotional activity and display of Mars Petcare products in the ‘Care & Treats’ portfolio to ensure operating plan objectives are achieved.
In this role you’ll partner closely with Woolworth to recommend and agree on the most effective customer investment strategy, recommend promotional strategy, develop buyer relationships, build promotional programs and deliver business objectives. Responsibilities
· Achieve ranging and distribution of Mars Petcare ‘Care & Treats’ products within Woolworths
· Development of promotional strategy & plan to maximise delivery of sales result within budget
· Develop formal business/category plans as well as strong trade relations to accelerate category growth for the long term
· Effective management of internal systems and process for accurate forecasting and demand planning
· Detailed control of current and future trade expenditure and customer investment
· Develop collaborative relationships within sales, marketing and supply to achieve overall business objectives
What are we looking for?
· Teriarty qualification
· 2+ years’ experience with proven track-record within top FMCG/CPG Sales related functions including National Account and Field Experience
· Demonstrated ability to build a network outside of own function and influence key stakeholders in development and deployment of operational initiatives
· Proven ability to collaborate broadly and deliver win / win outcomes
· Proven success in developing a strategy, setting targets and delivering results, including financial results
