Intern EU Packaging (m/f)
Starting in September/ October for 6 months
You are a fan of brands like Wrigley’s EXTRA, 5GUM or Airwaves? You are ready for new experiences? Then, we are looking for you to join our European Packaging team.
Basic purpose:
Support the EU Packaging Team in the delivery of Innovation, Productivity, Sustainability, New Technology and Customer Packaging initiatives in the Region.
Your responsibilities :
· Projects – support on specific NPD and VSI projects including new structural packaging developments, brand renovations and material changes; contributing to idea generation, prototyping, testing and trialing
· Specifications – supporting the regional implementation of new specification system by ensuring current packaging specifications are complete, approved and ready for transition to the new system
· Technology – develops understanding of Wrigley and competitor packaging formats and materials highlighting opportunities for optimization of existing packs to Global Packaging and wider business
· Capabilities – building a plan for the future of the Munich Packaging Studio
Context and Scope:
· Works with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including marketing, design, product development, global packaging, supply chain, commercial, suppliers and other external parties
· Develops test methods, establishes or refines specifications, documents standards and testing protocols for relevant initiatives
· Meets key project milestones, appropriately highlighting risks to timings or quality
Your qualifications:
· Studying a Bachelors or Masters
· Previous experience gained through industrial placement
· Broad general knowledge on Packaging materials and conversion processes, including flexible and paperboard packaging
· Ability to communicate and work in in multinational cross functional teams
· Language requirements – fluent in English mandatory
