Import & Export Analyst/ Querétaro, MX.

Job Purpose / Overview :

Import and export activities in Mexico has many details, what the analyst must understand end to end process in order to guarantee compliance and right first time, because any rework take many days increasing total lead-time and impacting internal and external service level.

Through the management of purchase orders in the system, guaranteeing the export through the corresponding customs and final delivery of the product at the agreed plant, as well as the import of raw materials, packaging material, spare parts and machinery necessary for production in Mexico. It intervenes mainly in the planning, production and customer service processes of each country in affiliates.

Guarantee execution and compliance for import and export processes. Be a focal point for export and import stakeholders understanding this process end to end. Guarantee service level agreement with internal customers(import) and external customers(affiliates) for exports.

What are we looking for?

Knowledge & Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

·  Business degree qualified
·  Minimum 2 years of experience in Import and Export processes
·  Proven knowledge about import and export routines and legal requirements, overall experience with US border customs, knowledge of data transmission to the FDA, review of certificate of origin (TMEC) and sanitary and consumer regulations for the US.
·  SAP and Microsoft is necessary. Excel advanced is mandatory



What would be your key responsibilities?

Principal Accountabilities

·  Guarantee and follow up all the activities in the import and export processes to delivery service level agreed for each activity.
·  Propose continuous improvement for import and export processes reducing costs and times.
·  Provide visibility and predictability for imported and exported items for main stakeholders as a focal point for import and export activities, guarantee cross communication with other areas and other affiliates, reducing noise and providing accuracy information.
