Principal Accountabilities:
This role is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our Guests by executing M&Ms World candy policies and procedures. All Guests should feel welcome and have a fun and memorable M&Ms World Brand experience in our friendly and colorful retail environment. The primary focus of this role is to motivate and supervise Personalize / Colorworks front for the sales floor in accordance with Mars standards and to entice and delight our Guests while shopping on the Colorworks wall or in the personalize section through an engaging and interactive “shoppertainment” environment.
DRIVE RESULTS / GUEST SERVICE- ACHIEVE OUR GOALS BY BRINGING MORE CHOCOLATE SMILES TO OUR GUESTS
· Displays a 'Guest comes first' attitude by Smiling and saying “Hi” to all Guests even when
working in a Chocolate sales role. On the chocolate wall or any guest facing role.
· Contributes to and is knowledgeable of store sales goals and results. Candy sale goals and results
· Balances serving multiple Guests and completing multiple tasks
· Acts as a positive role model for others by demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for sales and the Mars culture.
While working Onstage:
· Supervisor should be spending 90 % of work time on the sales floor displaying expected
behaviors and working side by side with assigned associates
· Provides Guests with a basket to enhance their shopping experience
· Demonstrates pace with a sense of direction and purpose and actively approaches Guests
· Asks open ended questions to determine the Guests needs
· Shows focus items as well as add-ons or additional items
· Shares product knowledge including chocolate facts with Guests and associates.
· Directs Guests to other departments / floors throughout the building
· Offers shipping for large or fragile purchases
· Conducts product demonstrations as needed ( Dispensers)
· Contributes to and is knowledgeable of store sales goals and results
· Balances serving multiple Guests and completing multiple tasks
· Acts as a positive role model for others by demonstrating passion and enthusiasm
TALENT MANAGEMENT- DELIVER AN EXPECTIONAL RETAIL EXPERIENCE BY DELIGHTING OUR GUESTS THROUGH OUR FUN, KNOWLEDGE AND PASSION FOR OUR BRAND
· Coaches associates in the moment to reward outstanding results / behaviors and to correct and improve developmental opportunities
· Supervises a group of assigned Personalize and Colorworks front associates ensuring clear expectations are communicated, results are followed up and accountability is applied (in partnership with Chocolate Sales Manager)
· Ensures all associates are upbeat, engaging and fun, if not take action in partnership with
in partnership with Chocolate Sales Manager and or Manager on Duty
PRESENTATION EXCELLENCE- CREATE A VISUALLY EXCITING MERCHANDISE PRESENTATION BY DELIVERING OUR BRAND STANDARD PROMISE
· Partners with Manager on Duty to uphold M&Ms World visual standards and product placement
as directed by corporate team
· Ensures Onstage candy areas are neat, clean and organized and filled to the correct
capacity and that all styles are represented
· Proactive in recovery of Onstage to protect the stores appearance with a sense of urgency
· Ensures back stock in Personalized stock room are neat, clean and organized
· Complies with all safety and food handling standards
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE- ENSURING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES WHILE DELIVERING AN EXCITING RETAIL EXPERIENCE
· Coaches associates to meet Sales goals
· Replenishes co-pack candy product throughout the store
· Ensures code dates for food products are up to date.
· Strictly adhere to all food handling guidelines
· Orders Personalized and Chocolate wall supplies
· Ability to use equipment/tools in support of the job function, in a safe and responsible
manner
· Compliance to all company policies and procedures including Loss Prevention and
Safety/Emergency procedures
· Ensures all areas of the store Onstage and Backstage are neat clean,
organized, operational and safe

· Training new associates, as needed.
