We are seeking an External Factory Activities Manager for our Royal Canin US Headquarters office located in St. Charles, MO.

*Company paid relocation will be provided for this position.

This is a Global position located in the North America Region leading the External Factory (EF) activity after the ER gate and once the supply has started and the supplier is in the “approved” status (Deployment phase).

There are 4 areas of responsibilities in this role:

·  Ensure an efficient supply of the EF products in his/her region by following the adequate KPIs, contributing to the Continuous Improvement agenda with the collaboration of the supplier.
·  Communicate pro-actively all relevant data and information to allow a full picture of the activity for adequate decisions.
·  Facilitate the cross-region supply.
·  Lead the deployment phase of the Innovative EF products in collaboration with the Activity Manager & other Regional Teams (Supply Chain, Export, Trade, etc.).

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  Lead the Continuous Improvement agenda of the EF activities by compiling various KPI (stock cover, OTIF, Service Level, quantity produced, quantity shipped from hub, forecasts vs sales, scrapping costs linked to expired products) and bring a complete analysis with potential impacts on Service Level and/or relationship with the suppliers.
·  Ensure the reports of these KPIs on a periodic basis to the Global EF Community on the dedicated templates located on the EF Sharepoint.
·  Be the Single Point of Contact with the “approved” suppliers in his/her region to communicate any challenges or extra needs, collaborating closely with the Supply Planner in charge of the EF products procurement.
·  Collaborate with Q&FS to the yearly audits of suppliers in “approved” status in his/her region, providing all data (events, communication issues, delays, etc.) that will nourish the Supplier Performance Review as well as participates in the preparation of the audit.
·  Escalate to the Global EF Team all requests of changes, improvement from the suppliers (i.e. specifications, volume changes, etc.) as the first point of contact. Responsible to escalate any challenges or trade off and their impact to the S&OP+ Process (through Regional SMR [Mono region supply] or Global SMR [cross regions supply]) for decision making and communication to the markets through adequate forum.
·  Escalate to the Global IE/SC EF Manager any blocking points that would not be solved on short-term with agreed SLA in order to renegotiate with suppliers if needed.
·  Participate to the final SLA or State of Work leaded by the Global IE/SC Manager.
·  Bring proposals of SLA evolution when needed or when opportunities to improve the Service Level arise.
·  Bring his/her support to the Activity Manager and the other Regional Teams (Regulatory / SC Dev. / Logistic Teams) for the success of the deployment phase of the Innovation projects after the ER gate and nourish the Regional S&OP+ Process.
·  Collaborate with Regional Teams (Regulatory / Export CoE / SC Dev. / Logistic Teams) to facilitate the cross-region supply, anticipating and communicating the increase of volumes to the supplier giving a perspective of the timing.
·  Contribute to the periodic communication forum of the Global IE/SC EF Manager where updates, highlights and future projects are shared.
·  Participate actively in the Process of supplier exit, bringing all necessary inputs such as level of inventory, ongoing Purchase Order and compile costs associated (write off costs of raws and packs). Communicate all the inputs to the Global EF Team.

What are we looking for?

·  University degree (Master's).
·  Fluent English.
·  Three (3) years of experience in the area of logistics, procurement or planning.
·  APICS (BASICS OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT / CPIM) preferred.
