Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Coach, MW North America - Can be based out of any Mars US Hub Site
In service of MSE (internal acronym for TPM) Manufacturing, the E&T Pillar Coach serves as the regional lead with responsibility to deploy, embed and continuously improve the Essential Elements of the Education & Training (E&T) pillar across the Mars Wrigley sites in North America. As the functional expert in the region for the associated systems (i.e. POKA), processes (i.e. Skill and Knowledge validation) and tools (i.e. Step-up Cards) this role is responsible for engaging and upskilling key stakeholders, site E&T Pillar teams and site based training resources to enable them to effectively implement the E&T Pillar. The role also directly supports the Regional MSE Lead and partners with the regional MSE team to ensure the E&T pillar is an integrated component and critical enabler of MSE deployment.
In service of both MSE Manufacturing and MSE Supply Chain, this role also collaborates with key regional stakeholders and SME’s in the planning and execution of all MSE Academy programmes. This will be done in a manner that builds and sustains the capability required to deliver the expected MSE benefits.
What are we looking for?
· Associates Degree or higher
OR
High School Diploma coupled with 5+ years in a comparable technical position
· Experienced in Learning and Development or similar roles with a passion for training, coaching and developing people.
· Experience in Supply and in one or more areas of plant operations – Production Management, Continous Improvement, Training, HSE or Reliability/Maintenance.
· Experience in partnering with and influencing mulit-level stakeholders, strength in engagement and collaboration
· Technology capable with experience in virtual connections, website interactions, platform co-ordination and digital learning. Ideal but not essential, must have confidence to move in this field.
· Ability to travel as required between 30%-40% of time with majority of travel being within a region (Future state/amount of travel TBD).
· Ability to work flexible working hours accommodating varying time zones.
· Ability to work remotely from Line Management and delivering results in an isolated working environment
What would be your key responsibilities?
· Serve as the regional E&T functional expert, building capability in the community of site E&T Pillar Teams and site training resources through the delivery of formal training programs and ongoing site coaching visits to embed and continuously improve the Essential Elements of the E&T Pillar.
· Partner with regional segment MSE lead and site E&T Pillar leads to establish and implement a deployment plan for each Step in the E&T Pillar at pace across the entire site, aligned with MSE targets and segment/site priorities.
· Provide regional governance against established objectives and KPI’s for the E&T pillar and support the segment led governance model for the full MSE programme
· Lead the deployment and governance of POKA in the region and upskill site resources.
· Utilise the MSE Academy annual planning process to deliver a schedule of MSE Capability Building Programmes for both manufacturing and Supply Chain that meets regional requirements
