Here at Mars Petcare, we have an opportunity for a Demand Planner - Grocery to join the Demand Planning team on a 6-12-month contract to be based in either Melbourne or Wodonga.

This highly stakeholder focused role works closely with the Account teams, Logistics and Supply to ensure we accurately forecast and create a demand plan that reflects business planning and strategy to supply our products to our Grocery Customer.

You will have full accountability of the entire demand planning process including S&OP Feeder meeting preparation, a variety of Customer reviews, forecast adjustments and periodic pressure testing.

What would be your key responsibilities?
• Monitor baselines and supply trends ensuring shifts are reflected in the system
• Work collaboratively to drive consensus decisions with the Account Team and Customer and System data
• Lead Customer reporting to they understand performance v's target in the business scorecard
• Pro-actively manage the Customers 'Opportunity and Risk' matrix, provide recommendations and close out action Items
• Work with Team to manage opportunities and risks, recommend actions and close out Items

What are we looking for?
• Previous Demand, Supply or Vendor Planning experience working in either a manufacturing, retailer/customer or consumer goods environment
• Sounds capability to collaborate with stakeholders, and enjoys Influencing to have the more challenging conversations
• Excellent analytical ability with comfort to plan and prioritise according to against the business and customer needs

This could be a great role for a proactive junior Demand Planner looking to take that next step up, or a more experienced Planner looking to drive a continuous improvement mindset in the business, whilst working in a fun and supportive team environment. Even though the role is initially a 6-month contract there may be future opportunity for extension or permanency.
