Mars Wrigley looking for Customer Supply Chain VMI Analysts in Hackettstown, NJ. This role exists to provide a strong relationship with the customer. It provides benefits to the customer such as; reduced inventory and increased turns, reduced out of stocks and increased sales as well as reduced administrative costs. It allows our organization to run a leaner Supply Chain while utilizing the customers’ sales and forecasting data. The role manages key customers and has ranked high on customer surveys. There are no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily review of data integrity in Data Alliance/IBM/JDA/RSi/Solys which includes sales, outs, forecasts, regular turn and promotional information to determine if replenishment to customer distribution centers is needed in order to manage adequate inventory levels at customers’ D.C.’s. Review and research out of stocks. Manage new item buys and buy-downs on discontinued items to prevent obsolescence and customer returns. Increase supply chain efficiencies by ordering full truckload quantities in pallets and layers to will reduce the hours of picking and loading and reduce our CO2 footprint.
• Order Management- Manage orders via EDI from IBM into the SAP system. Resolve any EDI Errors that may occur. Execute order preparation to check item availability, cube adjusted weight and volume to ensure truckloads will ship in full. Work with internal teams to ensure product is available in our distribution centers. Focus on maintaining 98.5% Case Fill Rate to our customers as well as maintaining a high service level from our customers DCs to retailers. Process customer orders and obtain appointments for purchase orders where applicable
• Manage Key Performance Metrics as it relates to the business. Run reports such as customers’ consumption data, Case Fill Rate, Service Level, Item level inventory positions, Days of supply and out of stocks.
• Perform weekly D.C. Item level forecast review. Review and manage forecasts using current and historical demand and other sales trends. Perform new item creation and set-up. Review customer distribution level inventory and outliers to prevent errors with replenishment orders.
• Effectively work with the transportation group to ensure timely “on-time” delivery to customer
• Build strong relationship with buyer and Sales teams and manage individual customer’s demand
• Demonstrate engagement as it relates to our internal organization. Understand and utilize the Five Principles when performing daily tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or high school with equivalent work experience.
• 2 years working in the area of inventory control, forecasting, demand planning, CPFR Analyst or VMI Analyst
• Basic knowledge of replenishment, forecasting, order management and customer service related functions. Microsoft office skills. Knowledge of item level forecasting. Team player.
• Successful completion of drug and background check

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP and IBM. Detailed oriented and self-motivated. Strong analytical and communication skills. Problem solver. Strong understanding of key performance indicators such as Case Fill Rate, Service Level, Days of Supply, customer consumption. Experience in inventory and planning systems. Knowledge of item level forecasting. Seasonal and promotional planning and execution. Have the ability to thrive in a team environment.
