Role: Category Analyst
Salary & Benefits: £30k to £34K plus bonus and great benefits
Location: Waltham in the Wolds, Leicestershire

In this role you will:
This is a highly analytical role which will provide important/critical reporting and analysis to help make better business and category decisions. This role will also co-ordinate and collate key pieces of category data that enable us to make efficient business decisions and keep us on track; such as range optimisation, priority lists, risks and opportunities and KPI tracking.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Analyse the customer EPOS and data, working closely with the customer Category Manager to deliver customer specific insights

Deliver category foresight to shape our plan
·
Respond to internal category insight requests to shape our plan
·
Update scorecards that track progress against key category KPIs
This role requires out of hours working – Sunday evenings (or early Monday morning) and early mornings (before 8am) on Wednesday and Friday.
To do this role you’ll need:
· Ability to assimilate multiple data sources to provide compelling insight, and make efficient and effective use of data.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, tailoring for different audiences e.g internal teams through to third party sales agencies.
· Previous insight/category management experience (preferred)
