Summary
The Business Capabilities team enables Royal Canin to deliver breakthrough performance through transformation that accelerates growth and value creation for US market. The team builds the path between business OGSM, execution, and transformational results. Team members (1) co-pilot transformational initiatives as execution experts, (2) create the conditions for strategic decisions to be made through effective processes, and (3) drive overall delivery of the assigned Royal Canin business objectives.
The Business Capabilities Program Manager is accountable for overall delivery of key business projects, keeping all workstreams and initiatives on track. They ensure excellent program execution in support of Royal Canin US's ambitions. The Program Manager models and builds project management capability throughout the organization. This is a business role, leading both business and technology teams. Project/Program Managers whom only have experience with infrastructure implementations will not be considered.
Responsibilities
· Manage Royal Canin US key strategic projects and continuous improvement programs, using a matrix approach to manage other project managers and/or project coordinators as necessary.
· Leverage best practices for project management incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation and reporting which is agile, facilitates stakeholder engagement, fits the needs of the project and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely project delivery.
· Deliver change management processes in order to improve project success, increase user adoption, and increase project ROI.
· Develops positive relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, partners and teams to enable the eBiz team to provide support to organizational goals
· Act as a reference point for project management excellence and advocate for best practices in project management.
· Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, builds relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
· Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
· Analyzes and reports opportunities within program in order to increase productivity, implement new techniques, and provide a more efficient team.
Qualifications & Competencies
Educational
· 2+ years of business industry experience, focusing on software application builds
· 5+ years of project management experience
· Experienced working in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies
· PMP or PMI-ACPcertified (preferred)
· Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience

· Leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills: ability to manage, mentor and inspire team assigned to project and program work.
· Ability to influence and work with others, encourages teamwork and cross-collaboration, as well as builds strong internal and external relationships
· Excellent organization skills and uses an attention-to-detail approach to all work and processes
· Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities
