What you'll be doing

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible to deliver the vision of the newly launched Cast Iron Bar & Grill concept by providing consistently a hospitable, pro-active, engaging , knowledgeable and attentive service, following Marriott procedures and policies. You will take orders, give advices to guests through menu knowledge, suggestive and up-selling techniques prepare drinks and cocktails and serve food in a professional, positive, and timely manner to ensure that guests have a unique experience.

Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Wash soiled glassware. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
