Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Yogi-Mahesh Corporation. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Summary: The Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining the common and outside areas of the property, ensuring that the property is appealing and remains in good condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Cleans the lobby and pool restrooms
•Restocks the restrooms with supplies as needed
•Empties all trash in offices, front desk area, entrances, pool, and outside urns
•Picks up all trash and cigarette butts from the parking lot and sidewalks
•Ensures the dumpster area is clean and doors are kept closed
•Cleans the pool area and all pool furniture including:
Windowsills
Sweeping and mopping
Emptying the towel hamper
•Cleans the vending areas by dusting, wiping down machines, and vacuuming the floor
•Mops all public area tile and hard surfaces
•Cleans and stocks business center with necessary office supplies
•Vacuums the hallways after 10:00am
•Checks to ensure there are enough pool towels available for guests prior to leaving for the day
•Performs all other duties as may be assigned

Safety – The employee is safety conscious about the work environment and equipment. The work area is free of debris to prevent trip and slip hazards. All products and equipment are stored in its proper location. All safety guards and other safety devices are in its proper location, are functional, and utilized effectively on a consistent basis. Standard operating procedures, safety work rules and good general manufacturing practices are followed on a daily basis.
