JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a contract Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team and support our Talent Acquisition function. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will be responsible and focused on understanding the ongoing hiring needs of the business, conducting proactive candidate searches and talent pipelining, and partnering closely with Recruiters to ensure best in class candidate and hiring manager experiences.
FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
This is a remote position, and we’re open to any location and time zone in the United States.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
· Bachelor's degree, or related degree necessary.
· A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years of direct sourcing experience, is a requirement for this role.
· Candidates must have prior sourcing and recruiting experience, either in a search firm or an in-house talent acquisition team.
· A proven track record of successfully building talent pipelines is essential for this position.
Preferred
· Working understanding of talent acquisition/human resource principles, practices, and procedures
· Proficiency in utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
· Work closely with Recruiters to gain a deep understanding of our brands and disciplines, enabling the identification of ideal profiles for these positions.
· Develop and implement talent sourcing strategies, including social media campaigns, to attract candidates for all hotel roles in US/Canada.
· Launch and manage diverse sourcing strategies to actively seek out and attract candidates.
· Proactively build talent pipelines by generating referrals and conducting online sourcing to maintain a steady pool of potential candidates.
· Identify talent pools and online talent communities, fostering relationships on behalf of Marriott to build a strong network of potential candidates.
· Conduct talent mapping within target companies and industries to identify potential candidates and opportunities for future hiring.
· Organize and maintain talent pipeline data by discipline or functional area to optimize efficiency and reduce redundancy.
· Proactively initiate communication with prospective candidates, conduct preliminary phone screens and recommend candidates to recruiters for further consideration.
· Engage in continuous communication with past applicants and candidates, building relationships for both current and future opportunities.
· Support recruitment events and initiatives
Skills/Attributes
· Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs) to effectively manage the talent acquisition process.
· Demonstrates excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and meet deliverables within specified timeframes.
· Possesses solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to efficiently handle various tasks.
· Adaptable and flexible, comfortable with adjusting priorities when necessary to accommodate changing circumstances
· A team player with high credibility, capable of working independently while maintaining strong collaboration with colleagues.
· Results-oriented, consistently delivering outcomes under time constraints and exercising sound judgment even under pressure; proactive in generating innovative ideas.
· Develops and maintains effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders to foster trust and influence key decisions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Always maintains a positive attitude, even in the face of disagreement or differing perspectives; effective at addressing difficult issues and guiding others toward the accomplishment of identified goals
· Stays current with HR trends and best practices

The pay range for this position is $35.48 to $57.35 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
