JOB SUMMARY

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: 

 

• Manage a hectic daily delivery schedule for food and beverage stock, overseeing various tasks such as receiving deliveries and meticulously verifying them against orders and invoices.

• Efficiently organize stock placement in designated areas, prioritizing proper rotation to maintain freshness. 

• Conduct temperature checks on food deliveries to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Coordinate routine stocktakes with relevant managers. 

• Communicate with suppliers to address any stock-related issues promptly.

• Enforce the First In, First Out (FIFO) rule consistently to optimize inventory management. 

• Record and manage invoices and internal transfers in the inventory system for accurate tracking and accountability.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum requirements: 

 

•  Grade 12 certificate – Mathematics passed rate 50% or higher.

•  Complete understanding of Excel and Word applications 

•  Two years’ experience in Stores receiving and dispatching.

•  Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 

•  Computer literacy essential 

•  Must be in excellent health and physically fit.

•  Accuracy and speed in packing and picking. 

•  Positive attitude, self-disciplined and a motivated TEAM player 

•  Punctual, attention to detail and Problem-solving 

•  Must be able to work and perform well under pressure.
