Job Summary

To perform all the admin needs for the spa department under the direct supervision of the Spa & Recreation Manager. Also helping the spa associates with prior authorization from supervisor. Be responsible for access control, daily sales and guests needs i.e. locker keys, towel and bookings. Update all reports and databases as needed.
Up sell treatment and retail products. Provide regular training and monitor on associates achievement. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and achieving the operating budget.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a receptionist in spa or hospitality industry
Skills and Knowledge
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Able to get on well with people from many different backgrounds
Able to work under pressure at times
Ability to be versatile
Able to do shift work
Well presented
Clear speech
Must be able to do hard physical work
Good general health
Energetic
Self-motivated - able to work on their own

Education or Certification
Min. 25 years of age
Computer literate (high)
Supervisor training course/ skills
Training skills
Appraisal Skills Training
Group training skills
P&L understanding.
To have worked in hotels before as supervisor

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

Essential Functions

·  To ensure that you are always courteous and friendly to guests, attentive to their needs, handle problems in a professional manner and are

conscious of the importance of safety.

·  Assist and support Spa Associates and management in daily activities
·  Greet and attend guests
·  Answer telephone and make appointments for guests
·  Provide high quality customer services to Spa guests
·  Provide relevant information about spa facilities and available services
·  Respond to guests inquires and concerns
·  Solve guests complaints and misunderstandings
·  Assist and collaborate with front desk staff in providing excellent services to guests
·  Communicate and collaborate with other departments within the spa
·  Handle and maintain equipment and tools in proper spa settings
·  Ensure maintenance within the spa center
·  Maintain spa premises neat and a good working environment
·  Establish and maintain good relationships with spa staff and guests
·  Ensure client's safety, comfort and well-being
·  Ensure compliance with local and federal health and safety policies, standards and regulations
·  Record and monitor all sales, costs, payroll and profits within the spa
·  Participate in marketing and promotion activities
·  Take inventory, order and maintain spa equipment, tools and other necessary instruments
·  Perform other duties as requested by the spa manager
·  Keep spa/club in good maintenance.
·  Enforcing all club rules and ensuring a safe environment for all guests using the Spa/club facilities.
·  To be aware of Health and safety regulations and all rules & regulations
·  Work in reception predominately.
·  To make sure that the associates clean the whole club to hotel standards.
·  To make sure that the whole spa/club is maintained
·  To make sure that the pool and pool deck is maintained
·  To report all engineering faults and to follow up on.
·  To ensure that all check list are completed and monitored
·  Assisting with periodic cleaning and special cleaning
·  To Train and develop your team on retail and maximizing bookings
·  Hold Team Meetings
·  To be able to train all new team members
·  Understand and activate spa/club activities.
·  Work closely with supplier of our consignment products.
·  Read and interpret P&L statements.
·  Supervision of associates within the department
·  To carry out appraisals
·  Ensure that all PR's are done monthly as per budgeted figures and follow up in all purchases.
·  To carry out brand Standards checks
·  Any other relevant task
