This exciting role will see you assist the Spa Management team in driving the profitability, goals and objectives of our award-winning urban Spa. You will help to supervise the team to deliver outstanding service levels from the moment the guest enters the spa until they leave. Supporting in between with memberships, retail and uplevelling our offering.
We are looking for a hands-on experienced candidate, who has a strong customer service background in spa and/or hospitality. Experience working in a luxury environment is an advantage. The role is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week across 7 days, to include weekends and involves Early and Late shift cover with the earliest start time of 6am and the latest finish time of 10.30pm.
Responsibilities:
Working with the spa management team, the role involves supervision and development of the Spa Reception teams, ensuring that all operational procedures and brand standards are followed.

Anticipating your teams needs, along with our guests, will come naturally to you.
Maximising revenue is key and your role on the desk team, along with your receptionists, is key. Maximising diary space, upselling and having good product knowledge is all key to our, and your, success.
You will be supporting, training and motivating the Spa Reception and be the first point of contact for all new hire training.
As the role model you’ll also demonstrate excellent attention to detail, guest service, and initiative at all times and project a pleasant, positive and professional image.
There may be times where we haven’t got things quite right, working alongside the Spa Reception Manager, you’ll problem solve and address guests concerns using our LEARN model for guest feedback.
This is a hands on role where you will also be responsible alongside the teams for welcoming guests, answering spa enquiries, cash handling and observing set standards. You will also motivate and inspire the teams in their daily responsibility of membership, treatment and retail sales promoting a culture of up selling.
You will ensure that you have full liaison with all team members of the Spa & Hotel departments and you will have strong communication, organizational and team working skills.This role will also support the wider ream with coverage of Spa Duty Manager shifts as required.
Attributes Required:
· Previous experience in leading/supervising a team
· Previous experience in a client facing role within a luxury five star environment a distinct advantage
· Experience of working with hotel/spa booking and scheduling software
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
· Impeccable personal presentation
· Excellent understanding of client care and five star standards
· Genuine interest in holistic spa philosophy
· Committed, enthusiastic, organized and customer focused
· Ability to work reactively and proactively
· Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team
