Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position is responsible for supporting all functions such as conferences, events, meetings, worship services, and activities with sound, lighting, and audio/visual technical support.

Primary Duties

1. Support the set up, operation and tear down of all sound, lighting, and audio visual technical requirements for all functions and events.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve all technical difficulties experienced during an event in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Monitor the safety and upkeep of all technical areas, facilities, and equipment. Service, maintain, and make minor repairs on equipment. Keep a record of issues and resolutions that occur.
4. Organize multiple storage areas and monitor inventory.
5. Plan and write event descriptions events including, live music events, ouse events, and music department events as assigned by manager.
7. Run the technical aspects of all services.
8. Maintain an up to date file of all current and upcoming event descriptions.
9. Take primary lead to handle questions related to audio, video, and event lighting.
11. Assist with the coordination of sound, lighting, stage and audio visual technology.
12. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:                               High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:      No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience:         No supervisory experience.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

License or Certification:          CPR Certification

                                                 First Aid Certification

                                                 Recreation Equipment

                                                 Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
