Desired profile
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility for the “junior server” is to assist the restaurant manager on duty and the servers in providing quality food & beverage service to guests with accordance to restaurant specifications, courteously and efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
· Greet guests as they enter into the premise
· Deliver food to tables accurately and describe dishes to customers
· Ensuring food is delivered with the right presentation and the right food temperature
· Ability to assist guests for any food & beverage orders
· Assist servers in bussing and clearing tables
· Assist servers in resetting tables
· Assist servers on side duties & responsibilities
· Keeping the work area both FOB and BOH clean and safe
· Ability to communicate with the kitchen chef in regards to food order changes & allergies
· Ability to assist guests in regards to any questions about the restaurant and the hotel
Job Qualifications:
· Previous food runner/busser experience is necessary but not required
· Excellent communication and guest service skills
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task
· Proven record of handling stress in a fast paced work environment
· Ability to stand and walk all through the duration of the shift
· Basic knowledge in food menu and beverage
· Must have “Serving it Right” certificat e
