Job Overview
The F&B Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring high-quality service standards and guest satisfaction. This role requires timely and accurate order-taking, delivering food and beverages, and effectively communicating with guests to enhance their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Greeting and Service
•    Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
•    Present and explain the menu, including daily specials and recommendations.
•    Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar.
•    Provide timely service of food and beverages, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
Food and Beverage Service
•    Serve food and beverages to guests in a polite and professional manner.
•    Refill drinks and ensure guests are satisfied with their meals.
•    Anticipate guests’ needs and provide prompt and courteous service throughout the dining experience.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
•    Maintain a clean and organized service area, including clearing and resetting tables between seatings.
•    Ensure cleanliness of tableware, glasses, and utensils before use.
•    Adhere to all hygiene and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
Teamwork and Collaboration
•    Work closely with colleagues, including kitchen staff and supervisors, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
•    Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors to address guest needs.
•    Support colleagues in their roles and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Guest Service Improvement
•    Collect feedback from guests to ensure their satisfaction and suggest areas for improvement.
•    Resolve guest complaints in a professional and calm manner, ensuring a positive outcome for the guest.
•    Continuously improve service techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
•    Stay knowledgeable about the menu, food and beverage offerings, and any promotions.
•    Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards during service.
•    Assist in any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Work Environment
•    The role is typically based in a restaurant, café, bar, or other F&B service areas.
•    Interaction with guests is a key component of the role, requiring excellent communication and service skills.
•    The position may require multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Experience: Previous experience in a food and beverage role is preferred (but not required for entry-level candidates).

Core Competencies:
•    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
•    Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
•    Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•    Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to assist guests.
•    Basic English communication skills (required for international guest interactions).

Other Requirements:
•    Knowledge of food and beverage menu items (or ability to quickly learn).
•    Understanding of hygiene and safety regulations.
•    Food handling and alcohol service certifications (if applicable).

•    Hours: Full-time (Shift work may be required).
•    Compensation: As per company policies.
