 Senior Sales Manager

This position manages accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals (i.e., room nights, ADR, RevPAR, room rental, etc.) are achieved or exceeded. Leads the development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel. Works as a team member and mentors other sales and catering staff. The senior sales manager is a career sales professional and a top producer with hotel sales who has demonstrated through performance a commitment and expertise in direct sales.

What You’ll Do:
·  Understands market trends, competitive landscape, and demand to book business within hotel guidelines and drive revenue.
·  Manages group business from the hotel’s top accounts, meeting or exceeding revenue goals and supporting promotional efforts.
·  Conducts property site tours, sells all hotel services to new and existing clients, and ensures smooth handoff for service delivery.
·  Makes local and out-of-town sales calls, attends trade shows, and hosts client meetings to generate leads and promote the hotel.
·  Actively engages in community and industry events to enhance hotel visibility. Maintains communication with leadership and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.

About You:
·  Minimum 3 years of hotel sales experience.
·  High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent hotel sales training.
·  Strong knowledge of the travel industry, group sales process, and market trends.
·  Skilled in delivering sales presentations, analyzing data, and closing business.
·  Excellent communication, coordination, and basic math skills.
·  Professional appearance and ability to travel for trade shows and industry events.
·  Willingness to support hotel operations as needed, including participation in the manager-on-duty program.
