JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Events Manager, you will be able to develop your skills while being motivated by the Sydney lifestyle, surrounded by major Sydney icons. Position Summary:

· Develop and implement event strategies to achieve property’s objectives whilst consistently analyzing market information

· Responsible for managing the planning, execution & coordination of all the hotel’s events, internal functions and social events

· Manage the department’s event enquiries in an efficient and effective manner

· Lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the events function

· Work closely with the sales team to maximize all potential business leads

· Fueled by our love of the hyperlocal, be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations

· Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests to create memorable moments and enable future bookings

· Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty delivering mind-blowing services through each unique guest interaction

· Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.

· Lead the Events team to provide quality service and exceed guest expectations

· Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

· Be a thoughtful and dynamic leader by providing motivation and support to the team

· Relevant experience in a similar managerial role
