W Rome is currently casting for a Sales Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role is responsible for coordinating and organizing all banquets, events and meetings on property.

The impact you’ll make 

What more could our guests want than outstanding service, a clean comfortable room and delicious food and drink? It will be your job to make sure they get even more from their stay with us. Plan, coordinate and execute all banquet events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the client's expectations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong customer service orientation.

You’ll help create the warmest welcomes and most memorable visits that keep them coming back again and again. 

 

What you’ll do 

 

·  Manage event timelines, liaise with B&F and other departments, overseeing event setup and breakdown, and address any issues that arise during the event. 
·  Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet events.
·  Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
·  Ensure very clear and smooth communication with clients and with hotel operations
·  Create detailed event timelines and schedules.
·  Coordinate with a variety of departments such as and not limited to rooms, kitchen, banquet operations, restaurants and bars to maintain highest service and B&F standards while maximizing profits through outstanding customer service. 
·   Oversee event setup and breakdown and ensure all event details are executed according to plan.
·   Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
·   Work closely with the sales team to secure new business.
·   Maintain accurate records of all events.
·   Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
·   Handle multiple events simultaneously.
