CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience

Required:

·  Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major;
·  Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related professional area.

Preferred:

·  University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management. 
·  Lodging sales experience.
·  Account management experience.
·  Multi-brand experience
·  Marriott sales systems experience (e.g. SFAWeb/ CI, MarRFP)

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Driving Impact Through Sales Support

·  Provides day‑to‑day sales coordination for new openings and conversions, assisting properties with required tasks to meet revenue and market readiness goals.
·  Schedules and organizes RAMP and transition meetings with property teams, owners, and key stakeholders to ensure timelines and deliverables are clear.
·  Conducts regular update calls (Sales and/or Opening/Conversion Calls) to track progress on action plans and confirm completion of assigned sales and marketing tasks from RAMP through Post‑Opening.
·  Supports property teams by collecting and sharing market information and competitor updates to help guide tactical sales activities.
·  Connects property teams with Marriott’s Global and Market Sales organization to ensure access to target accounts and sales initiatives.
·  Provides hands‑on assistance with Marriott sales tools, resources, and processes to ensure pre‑opening tasks are executed correctly.
·  Coordinates with off‑property sales channels (Market Sales Offices, Customer Engagement Centers) to ensure integration of activities and maximize coverage.
·  Tracks completion of measurable action items to support RevPAR performance and revenue goals.
·  Offers direct property support during pre‑opening and renovation timelines, ensuring readiness for launch.

Modern Skills and Tools

·  Supports business performance at newly opened or transitioned hotels by tracking RevPAR drivers and ensuring sales teams complete specific, measurable action items.
·  Applies Marriott systems (SFAWeb|CI, MarRFP) and digital platforms to set up sales processes, manage leads, and monitor performance.
·  Assists property teams in applying sustainability‑aligned sales practices in line with Marriott’s standards.

Building Successful Relationships

·  Acts as a liaison and support resource for property teams, owners, and franchisees, ensuring smooth collaboration on revenue tasks.
·  Coordinates with off‑property sales channels to ensure efforts are aligned and complementary.
·  Builds working knowledge of target customers and market dynamics to help property teams tailor their sales activities.
