Located in the heart of the world-famous Serengeti, which has been crowned Africa’s Leading National Park six years in a row, our exclusive luxury tented camp is built around authenticity, design, and immersive safari experiences. Guests enjoy unique features like the “stargazer” tent roofs, which open for unfiltered night sky views—an experience unlike any other.

We are entering one of the most dynamic and high-growth safari markets globally, and we are looking for a Sales Manager with vision, drive, and global fluency to join our leadership team.

The Role
We’re seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager who can elevate Mapito Safari Camp’s global visibility, secure high-value partnerships, and drive revenue across B2B and B2C channels. You’ll work closely with our branding agency, reservations team, and top global tour operators to establish Mapito as a flagship destination within luxury safari travel.

 
Global Representation: Travel to key international trade shows and luxury travel events to promote the lodge.

Strategic Sales: Develop and manage partnerships with high-end travel agents, DMCs, tour operators, and travel advisors.

Brand Alignment: Collaborate with our branding and design agency to craft compelling marketing material aligned with Marriott Autograph Collection standards.

Client Relationship Management: Handle inquiries and build proposals for events, weddings, incentive groups, and VIP guests.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences for group and FIT bookings.

Team Leadership: Hire and mentor junior sales or marketing support staff as needed.

Hands-On Approach: Be responsive and available beyond standard business hours—hospitality is not 9-to-5.

Training & Development: Attend Marriott trainings and maintain up-to-date brand standards.

Who You Are
Proven experience in sales or marketing in luxury hospitality, ideally with international safari, resort, or high-end travel brands.
Strong network in the global travel industry, especially in Europe, North America, or Asia-Pacific.
Comfortable working remotely but willing to travel frequently.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.
Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with Marriott brand standards is a strong advantage.
