Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, H&H Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 

This is a great entry level position for someone who is ready to transition from a sales coordinator to a sales manager. The Sales Manager develops and fosters hotel business through direct sales, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue. This role assists the Director of Sales in executing the Marketing Plan and achieving key sales targets. The Sales Manager builds strong client relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and maintains an active presence in the hospitality market.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

•Establishes the Marketing Plan with the sales team and executes sales tasks and goals accordingly.
•Attends and actively participates in weekly sales meetings, training seminars, and other meetings as requested by the Director of Sales.
•Qualifies leads and prospects generated through cold calls, sales blitzes, telemarketing, and referrals.
•Cultivates all lead sources and networks with other Sales Managers to generate business opportunities.
•Completes and submits a detailed weekly sales report.
•Develops and maintains close relationships with top accounts and target accounts through phone calls, site tours, appointments, correspondence, and client entertainment.
•Maintains accurate sales records and a trace system for top and target accounts.
•Coordinates with hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of sales commitments.
•Develops relationships with competing hotels, local business organizations, and lead sources. Participates in community activities and guest events.
•Remains knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures and ensures compliance with safety protocols.
•Administers issued keys appropriately and maintains security protocols.
•Fosters a cooperative and positive working environment to maximize employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
•Represents the hotel professionally to enhance its reputation and public recognition.
•Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

•Strong negotiation and communication skills.
•Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
•Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
•Proficiency in sales reporting and analysis.
•Knowledge of hospitality and hotel sales strategies.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales-related software.

 

•Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred but not required
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry sales.

The salary for this position is $55,000.
