Job Summary
Facilitate exceptional hospitality and service by enhancing the guest experience with a focus on the location's Leisure and VIP guests' needs. Work as a member of the Transient Sales and Reservation Department supporting several aspects of the Sales & Marketing Operation. Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellation received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room type, and verify availability of room type and rate. Accommodate and document special requests from travel agents and clients. Set-up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies. Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Support Director of Leisure Sales with all sales initiatives that relate to transient travel. Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, amenities, Familiarization agendas). Gather materials and assemble information based on customer needs (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue. Respond to customer and guest inquiries. May serve as the initial point of contact for clients and communicates with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests. Assist with coordinating hotel site visits.
The ideal candidate must have:
· College graduate (4 year) and luxury experience preferred
· Able to demonstrate market research analytical skills
· Ability to create reports, consolidate information and data on consumer leads and market place intelligence and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
· Compile and analyze statistical data from hotel's multiple sales systems and formulate reports for senior leaders use.
· Manage departments expenses and spend relative to budget
· Working in a fast-paced environment
· Be able to work within a cohesive team and work with minimal supervision
· Assists management in development of marketing tools such as brochures, video, presentations, promotional materials, direct mail and other information packages.
· Schedules and monitors promotions in property channels.
· Assists with coordination of agenda for influencer visits.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required
· Strong computer skills
· Be able to work within a cohesive team and work with minimal supervision
· Experience working in a Luxury Hotel environment in Sales, Front Office or Guest Relations
· Familiarity with Sales/Marketing tools, including Opera and MARSHA
