Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Lotus Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 

Working as a Hotel Sales Coordinator supporting both Courtyard Denver Stadium and Element Downtown Denver, Colorado offers a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity within the hospitality industry.
Coordination of all groups as contracted by the DOS. Contact and provide appropriate follow-up on all signed/contracted business within five (5) working days. Determine and coordinate all needs of the customer.
Responsible for effectively communicating with the various departments to ensure that the meeting and related functions are executed to exceed the clients expectations.
Maintains well documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management in order to serve client and employer in the most expedient, organized and knowledgeable manner.
Maintains file history.
Develops strong customer relationships through appropriate client communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.
Work with sales personnel to achieve required sales team goals.
Have current knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts and promotions.
Assist with completing any required sales reports.
Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent is required, though a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, front desk, event planning, or customer service within the hospitality industry is often required.
Experience with handling contracts, reports, and sales documentation, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong interpersonal skills with previous experience in client communication, handling inquiries, and maintaining positive guest relations.
Familiarity with hotel sales software such as other property management systems is a plus.
Experience in coordinating meetings, banquets, or group bookings is beneficial.
Experience with social media, promotional campaigns, or local business outreach can be helpful for attracting new clients.

Up to $22/hr based on experience.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22.
