ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Room Service Manager, the Room Service Supervisor at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for daily operations of the Room Service team, ensuring guests receive a flawless service. 

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and passionate!

As Room Service Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include:

·  Create a positive working environment, while providing support and guidance to the room service team
·  Ensure high levels of service are being achieved 
·  Answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
·  Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
·  Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving it to guests
·  Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
·  Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
