The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the daily operations in Room Service. Position directs, trains and assists employees to follow standards in the delivery of food and beverage to guestrooms and hospitality suites. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction is achieved while maintaining the operating budget. Strengthens the food and beverage/culinary team by assisting in other outlets when needed.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
OR
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area

Languages: Fluent English and Spanish are required. Other languages are highly valued in the process
