The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in revenue management, particularly within the hospitality sector. Their expertise in managing pricing strategies, performance analytics, and forecasting will be instrumental in achieving financial targets and sustaining long-term success. Adaptability, leadership, and a commitment to excellence are essential qualities for this role.
General Scope and Purpose
•To take responsibility for the commercial performance of the Hotel, identifying strategies to secure a profitable business.
Critical Expertise & Recent experience:
•A minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience within a revenue role in a hotel of comparable size (essential) and /or a minimum of 3
years’ experience in a management role (desirable)
•Experience in Rooms and C&E and Spa revenue management preferred.
•Managing performance through aligning responsibilities and KPI’s
•A Minimum 3 years’ experience with the Marriott systems including holding a current One Yield certificate.
•Experience in revenue management in a cluster role.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
•Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
•Demonstrable track record in Revenue Management with ability to grow market share and budget delivery
•Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and targets
•Understanding of the hospitality and travel industry
•Knowledge in reservations tools and systems (Opera, One Yield) and Excel.
•Problem solving and training abilities.
•Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
•Brings in external best practice.
•Forward thinking and planning.
•Takes ownership for leading through change and adapts plans to take account of changing situations.

Responsibilities
•Analyses information and current and potential problems and proposes solutions.
•Analyses period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
•Generates updates on all segments each period and continually analyse booking patterns.
•Identifies the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
•Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
•Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources.
•Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
•Analyse weekly and monthly STAR information to assist in analysing past strategies; identifies areas needing improvement,
identifies competitor set strengths, and develops strategies to best capture available Market Share.
•Analyse STR information to assist in development of RevPAR Index forecasts.
•Generates yearly room revenue budget. To deliver effective budgeting, forecasting and support business planning, through strong
data analysis and market intelligence.
•To ensure professional and efficient utilisation of all systems, in line with Axiom Hospitality ways of Revenue Management.
•Provides critical input to property leaders for development of market sales strategy.
•Provides revenue management functional expertise and leadership to General Managers and property leadership teams.
•Implements and evaluates revenue tests.
•Ensures that revenue strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
•Implement regular goals and SMART targets with all teams and ensure these are met on a consistent basis and exceeded wherever
possible.
•Assists hotels with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations.
•Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes.
•Communicates any initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels/management Company/owners.
•Communicates market direction to revenue management, sales, and hotel leaders.
•Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.
•Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships.
•Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to the stakeholders.
•Predetermine the Hotel strategy and be instrumental in delivering that strategy in line with financial targets.
•Develop a 6-month, 12-month, and 2-year strategic action plan for management of the Cluster revenue targets.
•Conducts sales strategy analysis to refines as appropriate to increase market share for both properties.
•Reviews and communicates all Brand initiatives, taking advantage of all opportunities and driving that performance with all key
stakeholders
•To build relationship with Brand Partners revenue teams and ensure continuous learning of Brand Partners revenue and pricing
strategies
•To inspire, train and coach hotel team members to deliver optimum performance
