Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Insignia Hospitality Group. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Job Description:
*50 hour work weeks
*Responsible of two shifts, AM/PM. Must be present for both shifts.
*Supervises and coordinates all activities of staff and entire operation of food and beverage department. All staff must be trained and re-trained on a continued basis to ensure the highest level of guest service
*Ensures guest are handled courteously and efficiently, complaints and problems are resolved and requests for service are carried through.
*Acquainted with all aspects of food/beverage department and job duties of each position of staff
*Responsible of cost control, and quarterly goals set by Insignia Hospitality Group
*Food/Beverage Manager must be well groomed, professional in appearance and actions at all times.
*Responsible of making labor percentage. This may mean Manager covering shifts during slow times
*Responsible for all Banquets hotel books
Job Requirements:
Must have previous Food/Beverage and supervisory experience.
Have excellent communication , interpersonal skills and the ability to take responsibility and delegate to others.
Must be able to push/pull/lift 40-60 pounds
