Restaurant Manager – Job Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, energetic, and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team of approximately 50 staff members. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Please note: This position is only open to South African citizens. Shift work is required , with a strong focus on evenings, weekends, and public holidays .
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

·  Oversee daily operations across Restaurants, Bars, and Room Service (where applicable).
·  Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.
·  Actively support staff on the floor during peak service periods.

Team Management

·  Lead by example, fostering a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and accountability.
·  Motivate and mentor staff to achieve operational excellence.
·  Manage staffing levels to meet service and financial goals.

Customer Experience

·  Ensure exceptional guest service from arrival to departure.
·  Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
·  Continuously seek feedback and implement improvements.

Training & Development

·  Identify training needs and implement development plans.
·  Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
·  Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Compliance & Standards

·  Ensure adherence to all food and beverage policies, health regulations, and liquor laws.
·  Monitor and maintain sanitation and safety standards.

Financial Oversight

·  Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and invoice management.
·  Drive profitability through efficient operations and cost control. Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

·  High school diploma or GED with minimum 6 years’ experience in food & beverage, culinary, or hospitality management. OR
·  2-year diploma/degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field with minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
