Job description
Job requirements:
· Professional Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
· Proven experience leading a team with a track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
· Familiarity with the Barcelona luxury hospitality market, including knowledge of competitive pricing, high-end guest expectations.
· Technical Skills and Systems Knowledge:
· Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS), with preference for experience in systems such as Opera and Marsha.
· Understanding of revenue management principles, including dynamic pricing strategies, inventory control, and distribution channels management.
· Sales and Revenue Management:
· Knowledge of revenue optimization techniques, including upselling and managing OTA relationships.
· Customer Service and Communication:
· Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle VIP and high-net-worth clientele with discretion and professionalism.
· Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Catalan, French, or German) is a plus.
· Proven ability to effectively resolve customer complaints, ensuring a positive outcome while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.
· Leadership and Team Management:
· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team to achieve high performance standards.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing team schedules, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
· Educational Background:
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.
· Additional certifications in revenue management or luxury hospitality management are advantageous.
