Our best Receptionist (exclusively night shift) is someone who has:

·  Interest and ability to work exclusively night shifts.
·  Previous experience working in a hotel is an advantage;
·  Very good conversational English skills, a second foreign language is an advantage;
·  Very good computer skills; knowledge of a hotel management system is an advantage (Opera);
·  Customer orientation, problem solving and decision making skills;
·  Warm, friendly personality;
·  Excellent communication skills;
·  Team spirit.

 

As a Receptionist (exclusively night shift), you will:

·  Accurately check mailings and documents processed during the day at the front desk.
·  Record, store, access and/or analyze computerized financial information.
·  Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for the hotel in accordance with cash management policy and procedures.
·  Organize and secure all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
·  Prepare and distribute statistical, financial, accounting or audit reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue records.
·  Process in the computer system all guest arrivals confirming reservations, allocating rooms issuing and activating room access cards;
·  Process all payment types such as recorded room payments, cash, debit or credit;
·  Process all check-outs and resolve any disputes related to payment amounts;
·  Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, inquiries or concerns;
·  Collaborate with the Housekeeping department to follow up the preparation of rooms for guest accommodation;
·  Provide guests with instructions and information regarding the hotel and local areas of interest;
·  Comply with tax and accounting rules regarding the collection and recording of income;
