CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT

W Sydney located at 31 Wheat Road is now casting for a Purchasing Officer. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this integral role will support the Purchasing & Receiving function in the hotel procurement of goods and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; 

·  Identify potential suppliers and research their offers;
·  Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers;
·  Create purchase orders on Birchstreet and ensure they are approved; 
·  Track orders by monitoring delivery status and ensure they are no delays;  
·  Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reorder supplies as needed;
·  Review and approve invoices for payment;
·  Resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or deliveries; 
·  Analyze market trends and make recommendations for cost savings to meet financial objectives; 
·  Collaborate with other departments to identify purchasing & recieving needs;
·  Maintain records and keep records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
