Nikkei Chef, Hotel Cala di Volpe & Hotel Cervo

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities:

·  Prepare and cook a variety of Nikkei dishes, combining Japanese and Peruvian ingredients and techniques
·  Develop and innovate new menu items that reflect the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines
·  Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
·  Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
·  Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
·  Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Nikkei cooking techniques and standards
·  Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
·  Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Preferred qualifications:

·  Proven experience in the same position, with a focus on Nikkei or fusion cuisine
·  Familiar in working in a structured and large brigade
·  Strong knowledge of Japanese and Peruvian culinary techniques and ingredients.
·  Creativity and passion for developing unique and flavorful dishes.
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills.
·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
·  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
