POSITION OVERVIEW

As the PR/Marketing Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya, you will contribute to the successful outcome of the hotel's business goals by implementing marketing strategies based on the hotel's business objectives. This includes building relationships with various media and influencers, creating and distributing press releases, managing digital contents such as SNS, updating the hotel website, and promoting restaurants and stay plans through email marketing and OTA. You will also work to establish and further promote the Courtyard brand image.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Responding to various inquiries from the media
·  Building relationships with media and influencers (through lunch and dinner invitations, events, etc.)
·  Creating press releases, as well as letters and invitations to media outlets and related parties
·  Coordinating hotel tours for media outlets and related parties, as well as coordinating and supervising photo and video shoots and interviews
·  Promoting hotel anniversary events, marketing and promotional events, and coordinating with local onsite media groups to promote local events
·   Planning, creation, distribution, and effectiveness measurement of digital content, including various social media platforms
·  Promotion through email marketing and external online reservation sites
·  Creating materials not limited to digital media, such as hotel brochures, seasonal events and promotions
·  Updating and managing the digital library
·  Updating the hotel website, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Experiences in PR/marketing work (any industry)
·  Experiences in digital marketing, such as social media, website updates, and email marketing (those who have been engaged in the whole process from planning, implementation and outcome monitoring are advantageous)
·  Ability to execute tasks (you are required to make sure all necessary tasks are planned and completed according to the schedule such as executing seasonal promotions, photo shooting, press releases, and social media posts, as well as collaborating with other departments such as Sales and Food and Beverage team when necessary)
·  Communication skills (in addition to the above, there will be frequent negotiations with internal and external parties, as well as interactions with various media and influencers)
·  English proficiency (Instructions from Marriott's area offices, online meetings, and training are often conducted in English, so reading skill is more important than speaking, though you do not have to be fluent. We however are welcoming candidates who are comfortable in English speaking environment and are eager to further improve their English skills.)
