Market Director of Finance – Fiji & Samoa

Job Description: The Market Director of Finance – Fiji & Samoa functions as the strategic financial business leader for  properties within the Fiji & Samoa market. Reporting to the Area General Manager & Vice President Pacific Islands, the role supervises Directors of Finance & Finance Shared Services to execute hotel and country-specific financial strategies. The role guides hotel leaders on sound financial strategies and manages key stakeholder relations, including owners, government, and industry leaders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team across multiple properties, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and market growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Market.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage financial reporting and analysis, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, government, and industry leaders.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

 

Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or related major, 2 years experience in similar finance and accounting role or related professional area.
