JOB SUMMARY 

Support the Marriott Franchise Security Program to educate internal and external stakeholders including owners and franchisees on Marriott IT Security Standards such as Franchise Security Brand Standard. Drive the enforcement of Marriott data security requirements and drive  security awareness and Compliance opportunities in collaboration with OFS, Continent IT, GIS and Legal teams. Support the Franchise Property Security & Compliance Verification  program as per GIS and legal directives. Perform Property Assessments, Reporting, Remediation follow ups and risk analysis in conjunction with GRC and other teams. Use strong property technology and operations experience to design and where appropriate administer processes that will improve information security & compliance posture at Marriott Franchise properties. Be a security expert and point of contact for our stakeholders, owners and franchisees for any seciurity related issues and escalations. Build stroing partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

 

Required Education and Experience  

Education and Experience 

·  Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent experience/certifications
·  5+years progressive experience IT and/or IT Security experience
·  2 years recent experience as a primary point of security accountability with some audit/assessment Experience (i.e. Compliance, Brand Standards)
