JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Human Resource will be a key position within the Customer Engagement Center ("CEC") Site HR Team partnering with leadership and will have oversight of talent acquisition, total compensation practices and support training and development for site associates. This role will assist in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource team members with the appropriate skills, establishing and maintaining contact with external recruitment sources. Providing subject matter expertise to CEC site managers regarding selection procedures, they will work with the unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims and attend unemployment hearings.
This role will support the CEC New Hire Experience program at the site and will partner with training to ensure new hires receive appropriate training and utilize all available on-the-job training tools for associates. This role will assist in maintaining effective associate communication channels within the center, utilizing an “open door” policy to acknowledge associate problems or concerns in a timely manner. Ensuring associate issues are referred to the appropriate manager or escalated to the Director of Human Resources as necessary. This role will maintain and secure associate files with required employment paperwork. Additionally, this role will communicate center rules and regulations via the associate handbook, ensure all safety and security policies are regularly communicated to employees, and manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs. The ideal candidate must be a team leader and able to motivate others to achieve high performance.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
· High school diploma or GED; 3 years’ experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
OR
· 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
Preferred
· Experience in hospitality industry of customer contact centers.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
· Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource team members with the appropriate skills.
· Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources.
· Networks with local organizations to source candidates for current or future openings.
· Oversees and monitors the candidate identification and selection process in partnership with Internal Resourcing Team.
· Provides subject matter expertise to CEC site managers regarding selection procedures.
· Works with the unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims and attends unemployment hearings.
· Supports the CEC New Hire Experience program for new hires to receive appropriate training.
· Uses all available on-the-job training tools for associates and supervises ongoing training initiatives.
· Assists in maintaining effective associate communication channels within the center.

· Ensures associate files contain required employment paperwork and are properly maintained and secured.
· Communicates center rules and regulations via the associate handbook and ensures all safety and security policies are regularly communicated to employees.
· Conducts periodic claims reviews with Claims office to ensure claims are closed in a timely manner and reserve levels are appropriate for open claims.
· Manages Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate associate care and manage costs.
The salary range for this position is $64,000 to $83,000 annually and is a hybrid position that may require the associate to be in the CEC up to five (5) days per week.
