Maintenance Manager

Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the property’s Chief Engineer, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day engineering operation of the Resort and will be the point of contact for other departments which request maintenance assistance. He/She will have full responsibility in planning the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, which are to include, but not limited to the following:
· Supervise a team of technicians and skilled laborers
· The ability to manage a project from inception to completion
· Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs on all plant equipment and hotel facilities including all guestrooms
· Overseeing hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety
· Organizing repair, installation and renovation projects
· Resolving emergency issues
· Manage outsourced maintenance according to service agreements
· Attend in operations meeting and other meetings as required
· Monitors energy consumption on a weekly basis and propose improvements
· Manage risk assessment reports and take other necessary measures to ensure health and safety of subordinates or other employees
· Manage administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, rosters
Requirements:
· Proven Experience in a similar position for at least 2 years
· Project Management skills
· Experience in administrative processes
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Strong motivator for his team
· Experience in HVAC, Building Services, Plumbing and Electrical, Firefighting.
· Experience and knowledge on Major Plant equipment including Electrical switchgear, water distribution systems, RO Plants, Chillers, VRV’s, Pool Filtration systems.
· Wireman licence A and B
· Diploma or relevant working experience in refrigeration and HVAC systems
