Job Summary :
Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
The retail specialist is responsible for providing and maintaining exceptional guest experience, generating sales, merchandising products while supporting the property retail manager in day to day operations of a single retail store. The ideal candidate must be highly professional and motivated with knowledge of Luxury Retail.
Responsibilities:
Guest Experience:
Greet guests when they enter the store.

Provide exceptional and consistent guest experience.
·
Maintain awareness of merchandise of all stores.
·
Drive to meet and exceed stores daily goals.
·
Assist guest with any accommodation needs within the property.
·
Answer all customer inquiries and provide product information for guests.
·
Complete guest's purchases including all payment types, returns, refunds and exchanges.
Visual Standards and Operational Excellence:
·
Complete opening and closing checklist for the store.
·
Maintain Ritz - Carlton Reserve Brand standards by ensuring a well-organized, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and storage room.
·
Execute all visual directives to ensure the store is set properly and timely.
·
Restock items as necessary, check expirations dates and discard expired items.
·
Conscience of all loss prevention procedures and shrink activities.
·
Verify customer identification as required.
·
Maintain appropriate cash level in cash drawer.
·
Ensure all company money and receipts are turned in and verify all end of day deposits / cash drops.
·
Monitor activities to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage.
·
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to retail manager or loss prevention department.

Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
·
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protects company assets.

Qualifications:
·
Minimum of High School education or equivalent.
·
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Retail or Luxury Hospitality preferred.
·
Strong Knowledge of Luxury Retail and Local Artisanery
·
Enjoys engaging with customer emotionally and loves to sell.
·
Demonstrated ability to work in a teamwork environment.
·
Ability to work flexible schedules to meet needs of guests and the business, including holidays and weekends.
·
Must be a Luxury Hospitality enthusiast.
