Job description

Job Summary

Manages security/loss prevention operations on a daily basis.  Areas of responsibilities include protection of property assets, employees, guests and property, accident and fire prevention and response.  Ensures that all areas of the property are safe and secure. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.  Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Safety and Security 

·  Follow property specific procedures for handling all emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters). 
·  Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. 
·  Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. 
·  Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to Manager/Assistant.
·  Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
·  Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc., including using Safety Data Sheets (SDS). 
·  Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury. 
·  Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks. 

 

Job Specification

Educational / Academic requirements: O Levels School, Diploma or Equivalent in any discipline.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of security experience.
