Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Preparar panes y pasteles, incluyendo la preparación de masas y rellenos, fermentación, horneado y decoración según corresponda. Revisar la hoja de producción para entender la variedad de productos horneados que se deben producir a diario. Preparar y cocinar alimentos de acuerdo con las recetas, estándares de calidad y presentación, y listas de verificación de preparación de alimentos. Mantener registros en la cocina para el cumplimiento del programa de seguridad alimentaria. Mantener al chef informado sobre los excedentes de alimentos para la planificación de ofertas diarias. Utilizar de manera segura y adecuada las herramientas/equipos/aparatos de horneado y medición para preparar alimentos horneados. Seguir y asegurar el cumplimiento de las políticas y procedimientos de manejo de seguridad alimentaria, incluyendo procedimientos de higiene personal. Verificar y asegurar las temperaturas correctas de los aparatos de cocina y los alimentos, y reportar problemas a la gerencia. Monitorear la calidad de los alimentos preparados y las porciones servidas durante el turno. Asistir a la gerencia en la contratación, entrenamiento, programación, evaluación, asesoramiento, disciplina y motivación de empleados; actuar como un modelo a seguir.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
