Landscaping Guest Service Assistant

Position Overview

The Landscaping Guest Service Assistant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the property’s outdoor areas. This role ensures all landscaped and exterior spaces are well‑kept, safe, and visually appealing to guests and staff. The position requires hands‑on grounds maintenance, equipment operation, and seasonal care of plants, trees, and lawns.
Key Responsibilities
·  Maintain property grounds including lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and landscaped features through mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, weeding, and general upkeep.
·  Install and care for new plants, trees, shrubs, and irrigation systems; perform replacements, repairs, and seasonal landscaping tasks.
·  Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including fountains, planters, pathways, and exterior trash bins to ensure a neat, safe, and attractive environment.
·  Operate and maintain grounds equipment (mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, trimmers, blowers), including cleaning, washing, and refueling equipment after use; transport materials and debris as required. Experience & Qualifications
·  Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance preferred.
·  Ability to operate groundskeeping tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
·  Knowledge of basic horticulture, plant care, and irrigation systems is an advantage.
·  Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
·  Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
·  Good communication skills and the ability to follow work schedules and instructions.
·  Willingness and ability to do shift work 
·  Eligible for individuals with working rights in Fiji.
