The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 

The Bistro Kitchen Manager oversees the daily operations of the Courtyard Bistro kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with Marriott brand standards. This hands-on leadership role involves preparing food, managing kitchen inventory, maintaining food safety, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure an efficient and guest-focused operation. The Kitchen Manager plays a key role in upholding brand consistency while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with Courtyard Bistro and Marriott brand standards.
Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen team members for breakfast, evening, and grab-and-go service.
Monitor food inventory levels, conduct weekly ordering, and manage deliveries to prevent shortages or waste.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (local, state, and brand-specific).
Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
Develop and implement prep lists, cleaning schedules, and daily production checklists.
Control food costs through portion control, waste management, and proper storage procedures.
Support culinary innovation by introducing specials or improving processes where allowed by brand guidelines.
Collaborate with Bistro and F&B leaders on service timing, special events, and guest feedback.
Lead by example in professionalism, hospitality, and Marriott core values.

Salary range $58,000 – $63,000 annually.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $63,000 annually.
