DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The intern will work for Marriott’s Area Operations team and will be based in the Jakarta area office. The intern will assist in projects, and supporting initiatives related to hotel operations. Key responsibilities include:
· Create presentation decks using PowerPoint
· Coordinate and collate data / information with different teams
· Review and summarize Financial reports
· Perform basic analysis using Excel and other relevant analytical tools
· Take lead of projects such as Capital expenditure, Budget preparation
· Manage and respond to e-mails in an effective, organized and professional way
· Assist supervisor in facilitating appointments, organize meeting schedule and prepare agenda
· Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and follow company policies and procedures
· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
You should be a high-potential intern who is passionate, committed, and keen to establish a career in the hospitality industry with the following attributes:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, result-oriented nature
· Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
· Detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive
· Take initiative and act quickly to support and deliver projects in a professional manner
· PC skills- MS Office programs (Strong in Excel. Basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint),
· Team player who has the ability to work with external parties and with all levels of the organization
QUALIFICATION STANDARD
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and accounting, statistics or hospitality management preferred
Core education in financial studies must include investment analysis, international business, business laws, and managerial finance
Requirements
Indonesian.
Eligible for undergraduate in an Indonesia registered university program.
Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship.
