Qualifications :

The HR Coordinator will primarily be responsible for office administration and employee relations for a large hotel with 300+ employees. This is an HR Generalist position whose responsibilities include creating and maintaining new hire and personnel files and enter associate and job related data into Human Resources Information Systems, ensuring accurate maintenance of all employee records and files and making sure that they are in compliance with company policies and local law, organizing monthly employee recognition programs, creating hotel communication efforts such as newsletters, bulletin boards and social media, coordinating all-employee meetings and events, maintaining office supplies, ordering and processing invoices, and informing Human Resources Management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property, and will assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving employee relations issues. In addition, the role will assist with recruitment, immigration, training, payroll and benefits processes where necessary. Candidates who meet the following requirements will be shortlisted and will be required to undertake administrative skills testing. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor degree required
- at least one (1) year experience in Human Resources or similar administrative role
- highly organized and detailed oriented
- strong administrative skills are required
- computer literate and Microsoft Office proficient
- must be able to type at least 40+ words per minute
- ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment and to adhere to tight deadlines
- ability to handle multiple projects at once
- critical thinking and ability to make sound decisions
- able and willing to work long hours; weekends and holidays depending on business needs
- hotel experience preferred
- enthusiastic, customer focused demeanor

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
