Job Summary


The primary areas of responsibility will be room or public space cleaning, however the same standards are to be maintained in other designated areas as assigned from time to time. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation at the Associates Housing Complex. Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, Plunging toilets and repairing leaky spigots and faucets. Performing miscellaneous minor repairing such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs and patching holes in walls, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment's including cleaning and lubrications.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; and report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

· Perform all duties and responsibilities in allotted period of time on the inspection schedule.
· Report all malfunction of equipment, damage on the building or any breakage in the Associate Housing.
· Help monitor the Rules and Regulations of the Associate housing and report any violation to the Housing Supervisor.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the public areas/hallways / toilets / garbage room and other areas concern at all times.
· Help in the periodical general cleaning and vacated rooms and other extra responsibilities.
· Assist the Housing Supervisor devise a special cleaning plan for the area
· Assist in housing inventories and related report preparation.
· Ensure that all the preventive maintenance, are reported to the Housing Supervisor for proper disposal.
· Inform the supervisor of any additional maintenance, cleaning or repairs that have to be conducted.
· Participate and help in the preparation of all recreational and social events at the Housing.
· Adopt and maintain friendly manner with all the Housing Associates.
· To ensure high quality of hospitality and positive concern to each associates.
· Assist in cleaning rooms of new joiners and leavers.
· Report to work on time and attend the daily briefings.
· To be fully conversant with standard cleaning procedures and the correct usage and dosage of each cleaning chemical. To be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and to ensure that these are complied with at all times.

· Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment's including cleaning and lubrications.
· Attend associates housing maintenance complaints which are written in Maintenance book at the security desk.
· Assist in energy conservation program and Comply with hotel and corporate LSOP's and SOP's.
· Serve as an active member of housing emergency response team.
· To ensure that you maintain a high level of hospitality and guest concern. Practice at all times “Empowerment” and do whatever it takes to satisfy the guest.
· Accident prevention and safety to be aware of all existing departmental job safety analysis and to strive to work in an accident free manner and to create a safe working environment for himself and for others.
· Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Housing Supervisor.

· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
· Carries responsibility for ensuring that all cash and key security procedures are adhered at all times as per the hotel policy

· Performs other duties as assigned by the leader to meet business needs.
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
· Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited, Continental Office local policies and procedures and with hotel job aids
· Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than 48 hours per week
